Linguaskill Remote | Results & Certificates

Once you've completed your Linguaskill Remote test, your results and digital certificate are available through Metrica, Cambridge's secure online results platform. Below you'll find everything you need to know: when to expect your results, how to access and share your digital certificate, and the test integrity policy.

Results

Results are available within 6–8 working days. Here’s what to expect when they arrive.

When you’ll get them

You’ll receive an email from no-reply@metritests.com when your results are ready, normally 6–8 working days after your test. Tests that are part of a large session may take slightly longer.

How to view them

Log in to metritests.com/metrica with the same username and centre ID you used to take the test. You don’t need the Secure Browser to view results. Your digital certificate is available for download from the "Results" tab.

Sharing with universities and employers

You can share results directly through Metrica’s Results Verification Service. Search for the recognising organisation in the list and click "Share". Your digital certificate displays your Test Day Photo and ID number, which is also shown to the recognising organisation when verifying.

My Best Score and retakes

You can retake any single module if you want a better result — you don’t have to redo all four modules. The certificate will show your best score per skill (My Best Score), if you retake under the same login and centre.

Note: results below B1 don’t appear on the certificate.

After the exam, you will receive an official Cambridge Linguaskill test report clearly showing scores and CEFR levels. Results are delivered digitally within 6–8 working days, helping you make timely academic or professional decisions.

Malpractice and disqualification

Every Linguaskill Remote test is fully reviewed after the test event. Your session is recorded throughout, and both AI invigilation and a trained reviewer assess your recording for any sign of malpractice. Malpractice is any attempt to breach test security or to obtain a result that is not a true reflection of your level of English.

Malpractice includes, but is not limited to:

  • using AI software or similar AI-assistance applications
  • accessing notes or unauthorised materials of any kind, from any source
  • using additional devices, or accessing unauthorised websites during the test
  • impersonating another candidate, or having someone else take the test for you
  • any other behaviour that is, or could reasonably be interpreted as, cheating

If you are found to have engaged in any of the above, your result will be disqualified. You will not receive a score, and you will not be able to generate a Digital Certificate or share your result with a Recognising Organisation. In some cases an investigation may delay your result while the matter is reviewed.

Candidates whose results are cancelled or withheld due to malpractice are not entitled to a refund. You do, however, have the right to appeal a malpractice decision through Swiss Exams.
